The official video for Karol G's new single "Carefree Happiness" has already garnered huge amounts of attention online. Despite the song's dance-centric style, it still embodies a carefree vibe, and the women featured in the video are free from makeup and inhibitions. "Carefree Happiness" is available for free download now and will soon become a hot new hit for the Colombian singer.

The track's co-writers, Karol G and Becky, a former Miss Universe contestant, wrote a salty verse that has been interpreted as a dig at Angel AA. The two finalized the video in January, as scheduling and the impact of the song would dictate the release date. The song was released on Becky G's YouTube account on Feb. 8 and received an immediate response. It was a success, peaking at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and became the singer's first hit single on her own. Karol G had a major hit with it, as well.
