The Best Anime of Spring 2022 An Explainer

Spring Anime 2022 in a Nutshell

Spring Anime 2022 in a nutshell: what should you be watching? We've broken down the season's most anticipated titles, including a new Dragon Ball movie, the long-awaited Chainsaw Man adaptation, and more. Now it's time to pick a few of our favorites. Here's a brief rundown of some of our top picks.

Komi-san Can't Communicate

Fans of the popular anime series Komi Can't Communicate are anxiously waiting for season two. The first season of the series ended in December 2021, but the show's producers have confirmed that Season 2 will debut in spring 2022. The anime is set to air on Netflix. The series is one of the most popular rom-coms in Japanese animation. Moreover, its light-hearted and sweet romance was a hit, winning the Best Romance award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Season two of Komi-san Can't Communicating will premiere on Netflix on April 6, 2022. The series will air in the west only in sub-format for now. The anime is based on the manga series of the same name by Tomohito Oda. The show will continue with Shouko Komi and her quest to make 100 friends. If fans love the first season, then Season 2 will definitely be worth the wait.

Tiger & Bunny

If you're a fan of superhero-themed anime, Tiger & Bunny are definitely worth a look. It's an animated series that ranks Heroes based on their actions. The anime is a spiritual successor to Tatsunoko's Karas OVA series, which shared many of its staff members. The series is fantastic and one of my favorite action dramas from the last decade.

Netflix has added several new and popular anime series to its Spring 2022 lineup. After wrapping up the first seasons of many of its shows, some of the most popular anime are making a comeback. Tiger & Bunny, and Ultraman Season 2 will make their Netflix debuts. These are only a few of the new shows available this spring, so keep an eye out for them!

Another anime that will join the Spring 2022 list is AOASHI, which is based on football. Ashito is a middle schooler and ace soccer player of an unremarkable club. He runs along the beach in frustration after losing a tournament and meets the coach of the leading J league team's youth team. They become friends, and help each other to defeat a common evil, but Ashito must fight against his own past and the curse placed on his family.

Skeleton Knight in Another World is My Next Life as a Villainess

My Next Life as a Villainess is a rip-off of the acclaimed Overlord manga. While the characters are not as overpowering, they do share some similarities with the Overlord character. Among these similarities are the overpowered characters and the gimmick. Let's examine these similarities and see which game is better. After playing both games, you'll know which one is better for you.

While my Overlord character is a hero, Ainz subverts that image. While Arc is a hero in the game, she is not the same character as her villain counterpart. Her powers are the same as hers, but she looks a lot more like a skeleton. Despite their similarities, each game is very enjoyable.

The Dawn of the Witch

In Spring 2022, anime fans are excited to see the new adaptation of Kakeru Kobashiri's light novel, "The 'Dawn of the Witch'." This fantasy series will debut on Crunchyroll on April 8, 2022. It features action, adventure, and comedy throughout the story. The Dawn of the Witch is one of many new anime titles coming out this spring.

Arc is a mysterious young girl who wakes up in a character's body from an online MMO. She is disguised as a monster on the outside, but is actually a human skeleton. As a result, she may be mistaken for one of these monsters and become a target once her real identity is revealed. This anime has a very promising PV and key visuals, but it will be interesting to see if it lives up to the hype.

The new season of anime is nearing, and a whole new slate of promising titles has recently premiered on Crunchyroll. From Spy a Family to Aoashi Spring 2022 is sure to be another fantastic year for anime! There's even an adaptation of the popular manga series "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" this year! So, what can you expect this spring?
