Beyonce's First Song in 26 Years to Debut on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Charts

It's official! Beyoncs's latest single, "Break My Soul," has made its debut on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart! The new single comes 25 years after the release of her solo debut album Private Dancer. The song is the first single to come from her seventh studio album, which is set for release June 20.

Beyonce's "Break My Soul" debuts on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart

"Break My Soul" is Beyonce's first single in over two decades to make the top 10 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. The song debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard chart during the tracking week of June 20 to 26. The song was released at midnight on June 21 and premiered on Tidal three hours before its broad release. Despite its rapid debut, the song was only received a limited amount of radio airplay in its first week of release.

"Party" was released December 16 on the upcoming Heartbreak on a Full Moon album. It features a plethora of familiar faces from the Beyonce camp. In the video, Beyonce can be seen dancing, mowing the lawn, and wearing colorful bikinis. Her performance is accompanied by scenes of the local trailer park.

"Bootylicious" is a sample of Stevie Nicks' 1980 hit "Edge of Seventeen." The lyrics are a clever play on the gold-digging culture of modern society. The track broke the record for most digital downloads in a single week, was nominated for a Grammy, and reached #63 on the Top 100 Billboard Hot 100.

"Beyonce's New Single

The video for "Don't Stop the Music" was released on October 9, 2007. The song is a dance-pop romp and is the follow-up to Michael Jackson's 1982 hit "Want to Be Startin' Something." The track has a simple and catchy melody that's still popular to this day. The song was a lost classic, but the video has become an instant hit.

The single was the highest-charting song to debut on the R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart. The song went on to become Beyonce's first #1 single since Michael Jackson released "Stand By Me" in 1991. It has been certified six-times platinum in the U.S. and six-times platinum worldwide.

The video for "Love in This Club Part II" was shot in the style of a Halloween costume, which helped propel the song to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. No girl group has achieved a #1 song on Billboard's Hot 100 since. The video is the fifth-most-streamed song on the charts.

Beyonce's 1984 solo album Private Dancer

Beyonce's debut solo album was released in 1984 and quickly soared to multi-platinum success. In fact, the album remains one of the most successful albums in North American history. Not only was it a hit for the singer, but it also earned her multiple Grammy Awards. This makes it a must-have album for Beyonce fans. The album also features many tracks from the pop star's career.

After Tina Turner's divorce, she struggled to remain professional. She played cabaret-style shows to settle her debts and released three solo albums that failed to chart. However, her luck changed after Olivia Newton-John invited her to appear on a television special. In the special, she met producer Roger Davies, who subsequently signed her to Capitol Records. The two flew to England to record a Private Dancer.

Beyonce's 2004 greatest-hits compilation All the Best

Beyonce's debut album Lemonade spawned two more singles. Her first, "Drunk in Love," was a raucous anthem inspired by a drunken night in Las Vegas. Her second single, "Lemonade," is another classic - it's a soaring, sultry ballad that evokes a teeming dance floor. The song was originally going to be included in the soundtrack for the upcoming Pink Panther movie, but was canceled. The song went on to become a hit in the U.S. and Canada, and topped the R&B charts.

The album also included tracks from her solo career. In 2003, "Dangerously in Love" charted at number one, and the following year, her solo album, "Dangerously In Love," was certified gold. "Crazy in Love" was a classic R&B ballad and a Grammy-nominated track. Beyonce won a Grammy for Best Female R&B Performance for the track.

"Halo" is Beyonce's best vocal performance. "Love on Top" is good, but "Halo" reaches for divinity and Beyonce's voice flutters like a chariot. Grown men have cried to this song and it is the best song on the album. If you aren't a fan of Beyonce, try "All the Best" - it's a must-have for any Beyonce fan.

Beyonce rose to international fame as a founding member of the all-female recording group Destiny's Child. The group announced in 2005 that the members would retire from the group, allowing them to pursue personal goals, music, and theater. The album was a commercial success for the group and reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart in October 2005. Beyonce's 2004 greatest-hits compilation All the Best contains some of her best songs from that period, including "Formation," which is a declaration of black resilience and a tribute to Beyonce.

Beyonce's recent chart success

Despite being a superstar, Beyonce still manages to surprise us with her recent chart success. Her latest album, 'Renaissance,' has already become a chart hit in its own right, with the first single, 'BREAK MY SOUL,' knocking Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' off the top spot. Several other artists have also managed to get top spots in recent weeks.

The New Yorker's Jody Rosen describes Beyonce as the most important musician of the 21st century and the logical conclusion of a century-plus of pop music. The Guardian named Beyonce as Artist of the Decade, and Billboard named her one of the best-selling singles of the decade. A number of other media outlets congratulated her recent chart success, including Rolling Stone.

In April 2014, Beyonce and Jay Z announced their first co-headlining stadium tour. The couple received three awards at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, including the Video Vanguard Award. Beyonce was the top-earning woman in music for a second consecutive year and reportedly earned $115 million in 2014.

Despite Beyonce's recent chart success, she has also been taking time off from her music career. In January 2010, she announced a hiatus from music for nine months to "live life" and become inspired once again. In that time, she took part in numerous activities, including performing at several concerts in Europe, touring the Great Wall of China, visiting the pyramids in Egypt, and attending English music festivals. She also performed in ballet performances and attended several museums.

In June 2013, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) issued digital certifications for Beyonce's album, "Drunk In Love." Recorded Music NZ also issued a Top 40 singles chart in New Zealand, while Radio Airplay SRL broadcast Beyonce's song, "Ring Off."

After the release of "Dangerously in Love", Beyonce went back to Miami to record her next solo album. Her manager, mother, said that the album showcased her versatility and musical roots. While her bandmates focused on alternative pop and gospel music, Beyonce chose R&B songs for her debut album. Consequently, this album features high energy, ballads, and mid-tempo tracks.
